Job Overview:

Strategic Management Group is looking for an experienced Corporate Attorney to provide legal counsel on corporate governance, compliance, and transactions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in corporate law and be comfortable advising on a range of legal matters, from contracts and mergers to regulatory compliance. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with our leadership team and contribute to key business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and business transactions
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents
• Ensure the company’s compliance with federal, state, and local laws
• Assist with mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions
• Represent the company in legal proceedings and manage external counsel when necessary
• Stay updated on changes in corporate law and advise the company accordingly

Requirements:

• Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Experience: 3+ years of experience practicing corporate law, preferably in-house or at a law firm
• Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance, contract law, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
